exciting things are happening everywhere you look

We got the apartment! I will have the keys in my hand in exactly two weeks, and I couldn't be happier. I am already working on selecting paint colors, and building wish lists all over the internet. After living in a cramped space for the last year, it will be a huge relief to have room to spare. Henry will finally have his own bedroom, and we'll have an office/knitting room, too. I can't wait to move and get settled...

On a completely different but no less exciting note, the Etsy treasury features keep flowing in. I haven't mentioned them recently, so I wanted to post some here today. Check out more of them here.

It's almost time to move! We're on the waitlist for a huge apartment, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for it. I'm already starting to daydream of all the things I want to do/buy once we move in, which has led to this eclectic Etsy treasury. Check it out here.

Whew, it's been a whole month since my last post. I have actually been taking a lot of time off from work lately, but I've kept busy with apartment hunting, long walks, reading, and (of course) my sweet boy. I was so excited to see that I made the front page of Etsy today! I was included in this beautiful treasury that was (not surprisingly) selected for the front page this afternoon, and the scarf featured has already sold. Yay!

pink for the cure

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is an issue that has always been close to my heart, and this year I am offering a pink crochet scarf in my store as a way to raise awareness and funds. For each pink scarf sold, I will be donating $5 to Susan G Komen for the Cure. Depending on popularity, I may keep the scarf available year-round. We'll see how it goes.

I also made a treasury featuring other breast cancer awareness items today. I think my favorites are the little girls - one in the tutu and the other in an adorable pink headband. Check it out here.
