Etsy is still on Treasury East. On the one hand, I love being able to make a treasury whenever I please, but on the other, I hate that it feels like treasuries are just lost in the ever-growing pile now. Mixed feelings aside, I made my third Treasury East today. I'm hoping this will get my new tank dress some clicks and hearts. Fingers crossed...

knitted tank
I finally got around to knitting a tank dress, and Sami was kind enough to model it for me this week. I just listed it in the store today, and made a treasury (post about that coming up next.) This will be one of my "Choose your COLOR" items, so customers will be able to select a color and have their top/dress custom made. It's so cute! I can't wait to wear this one to the beach over my swimsuit...

myartspace featured artist
I received an email today informing me that I will be a featured artist on Myartspace for the next month. One of my images will rotate on the front page, and I'm smack in the middle of the Featured Artist page. How exciting!

graduated!
It has been almost a month since my last post! The blog has definitely been neglected, but for good reason: I was finishing my senior year at VCU. I graduated from VCUarts on Friday with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. It was a long, hard journey, and the last year and a half was especially difficult for personal reasons, but the reward is so sweet. I could not have made it without the love and support of my family. For the last year, my mom sacrificed her personal life to be here for me, helping with Henry and putting up with my stressed out angry moods. My dad selflessly shared my mom with me, encouraging her to spend as much time in Richmond as necessary. Asher came along with mom the majority of the time, also giving up his time and energy to be here for me. I owe all of my success to them, and I am forever grateful. Thanks to all of their help, I was not only able to graduate on time, but did so with honors: Magna Cum Laude!
On Saturday, my big brother Ricky graduated from VCU School of World Studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. He was also Magna Cum Laude - so proud of him! I should mention that he also made sacrifices for me over the last year, offering to help out with babysitting and putting up with constant house guests and a crowded apartment. My family is amazing.
Now that I'm finished with school the job hunt is seriously on, and I have some pending applications that I'm hopeful about. From now on, I hope to have more time to maintain the blog and start adding new inventory to my store. I'm also hoping that I'll have time to make art for fun these days. Can't wait to experience that phenomena again ...
Below are some pictures from the weekend. If you keep up with me on facebook you've already seen them, but for those of you that do not, enjoy!
